The 5th Dimension is being threatened by a pair of aliens who thrive on competition, and they force Mxy to pick one champion to represent himself - so the imp seeks out the greatest hero he knows: Superman! Unfortunately the Man of Steel isn't available, and the imp must ultimately settle on...Bizarro - whose logic and awareness is so screwed up that he has no idea what a "hero" is or how to act like one. For inspiration, Mxyzptlk shows Superman's "imperfect duplicate" a bunch of super-hero comics. But Bizarro doesn't like what he sees, and decides to make his own… These "comics" - starring numerous super-heroes of the DCU - fill out the bulk of this one-of-a-kind hardcover, featuring work from the best and brightest of the independent and small press comics scene.
