Star Comics Archives Vol 6
The unfolding events of World War II cast dark shadows over
the events of ALL STAR COMICS ARCHIVES Volume 6, a hardcover reprinting the Golden Age
adventures of the Justice Society of America from ALL STAR COMICS #24-28. In these
historic stories, the heroes of the original JSA travel through time; solve "The
Mystery of the Forgotten Crime!"; confront an invasion of alien robots; and battle
the world-spanning menace of "The Paintings That Walked the Earth!" Also
included is one of the best-remembered JSA stories: "A Place in the World," an
exciting adventure dealing with the plight of the physically challenged.
With most of the stories within written by the legendary
Gardner Fox, ALL STAR COMICS ARCHIVES Volume 6 includes artwork by an incredible array of
Golden Age luminaries, among them Joe Kubert, H.G. Peter, Stan Aschmeier, and Martin
Nodell. With an introduction by Roy Thomas (ALL-STAR SQUADRON) and a brand-new cover by
Michael Lark (LEGEND OF THE HAWKMAN), this is one of those rare collections that is as
compelling for its historic context as it is for its content.
ALL STAR ARCHIVES Volume 6 is a 224-page hardcover book.
